the class council met with dr bucklan this week. from what i can tell, gds is designed to be only slightly instructive. the intent is to learn the art by practicing it... very non-linear.
here are some other highlights:
-he's kinda big on punctuality (don't sweat it if everyone is late: prev lecture ends late, elevator stuck, etc)
-if you need some help with dental anat, get in touch with him
-he reiterated that he is very approachable
-previously released q's are out there somewhere. (anybody seen any? want to share?)

could someone post the exam breakdown (how many questions/ section and which lectures will be included) for the midterm? He said it quickly in class and I didnt get all of it.
if previously released questions are "out there somewhere", why dont we all have them?
its unfair if old quiz/exams questions are given out to only certain students.
The midterm is going to have 25 Health Promotion questions, 5 Biomaterials questions (I believe only from the first two lectures of biomaterials) and 70 dental anatomy questions. The dental anatomy will cover everything up through premolars in detail and will contain a few general questions on molars.
There are some previously released questions on the CSDA and KSDA CDs.
