followup meeting about weekly quizzes

we shared your ideas:
weekly quiz--paper, please
two rooms, please
consistency, please
the implosion of blackboard was 'chaotic', 'a circus', 'a disaster'
66% said that the 'method of admin of that quiz interfered with ability to perform'
50% blackboard success rate

we thanked them many times for making a decision that was tough for them: curbing blackboard-based weekly quizzes for the remainder of the semester.

Who decided it was a good idea to send us multiple emails about how we shouldn't take a break over Thanksgiving? I would really prefer to plan out my time myself.

a break? what's that?

glad to see that everyone has quieted down with the complaining...

i do feel like the class should be rewarded/united and not just with another happy hour the weekend after exams. how about some simple breakfast or lunch (like muffins/bagels and coffee, etc) sponsored by student council after our last weekly quiz next week?

Is the reason for the 6 hour exam to prepare us for the boards? If they keep hitting us with exams like these we're going to be burnt out by then. You gear up to take an exam like that once.

how come all the years previous have 50 questions for cell organelle final and we have 100. the same thing for anatomy final: 75 questions on the old exams and 125 for us?

...because we're special. Anyway, isn't it better to have more questions? It wasn't so bad.

They had a midterm and a final for cell organelles. Each had 50 questions, for a grand total of 100. That's the same as what we had, just all at once.
