some faculty want to re-instate blackboard for weekly quizzes asap: next tues. class officers and faculty negotiated a win-win. faculty are able to conserve substantial pre- and post- quiz (wo)manpower by going digital, and we’ll have the use paper and a back button, avoiding arbitrary constraints.
if you feel inclined, please thank a basic science instructor for the concession.

I would have preferred the paper version for a number of reasons but I guess the scratch paper and back option will have to do. I have to say, it was nice of them to compromise that much.
What I am concerned about, however, is will we all be in Nagle? Because that leaves very little room for juggling a laptop plus scratch paper and it gets very distracting when people keep getting up and leaving while others are writing...especially when they knock over your laptop when they leave!
quiz question i made up for tomorrow! (and answer below so cover up the bottom!)
All of the following occurs at the sternal angel except one. Which answer is the exception?
A. Azygos vein drains into the inferior vena cava.
B. The bifurcation of the trachea.
C. The beginning of the arch of the aorta.
D. The upper extent of the pulmonary trunk.
E. The point where the thoracic duct crosses from left to right of midline.
F. The left and right brachiocephalic vein join to form the superior vena cava.
G. The end of the arch of the aorta.
H. Second rib articulates with sternum.
This was taken straight from Prof. Bakers lecture on Vasculature.
The correct answer (or at least the answer I entended) is F. Prof. Baker did not mention this choice in the list of things that occurs at the sternal angle in lecture.
